Delete your account

In the web app

1. Sign in at app.shoptopshelf-sb.ai-eh-by.ca.
2. Open Settings and choose Delete account.
3. Sign in again when asked, then confirm.

The deletion happens right away. You may want to use Download my data in Settings first (associates can also export their contact list). Uninstalling the web app from your phone does not delete your account.

Without the app

Send a request from the account deletion form on this page, or email our Privacy Officer at privacy@ai-eh-by.ca from the email address of your account with the subject "Delete my Shop Top Shelf account". We confirm by replying to that address and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in (Google, Apple or email and password); you are signed out everywhere.
• Your profile, preferences, notification choices, quiet hours, phone number, push subscriptions and consent records.
• Your follows, likes, wish lists (shared links stop working), history and the messages you wrote.
• Your connected social media accounts: we revoke our access where the network allows it and delete the tokens; any AI shop setup draft.
• If you have a shop: the shop and its products, collections, photos, content library, campaigns, scheduled posts, smart links and QR codes (they stop working), statistics, contact list, segments, automations and tasks; your team (if you lead one, it is closed; if you are a member, you leave it).
• Entries in associates' contact lists that exist only because you followed them and shared your email address.
• Your subscription, if any, is cancelled; no further payments are taken.
• The delivery records of emails, text messages and notifications we sent you.
• Short-lived sign-in and security records tied to your account.
• On the device you delete from: the record of your last sign-in method.

What is kept, and for how long

• Your reviews stay, shown as "Deleted user" with no link to you, so ratings stay accurate. Delete them first if you do not want that.
• Messages others wrote to you stay with the people who wrote them.
• If you signed up to an associate's updates or they added you, that entry belongs to the associate's contact list: unsubscribe from their emails or ask them to remove it.
• Click statistics as daily totals with no link to you.
• Billing records (subscription events and invoices): 6 years after the end of the tax year, as Canadian tax law requires.
• If you unsubscribed or an address or number bounced: a one-way hash of it (not the address) and the message type, so it is never written to against your wishes.
• Moderation and report records: 1 year after they were resolved. Admin audit log entries: 2 years.
• Backup copies of the database: up to 35 days, then deleted.
• Hosting logs: 30 days.
• Anything the law requires us to keep.
